Bird Proofing F.A.Q

  • How much does it cost?

There are a couple of factors that goes into the pricing. The main one being that we need to measure the system. Each layout is designed to fit the roof, they are not always placed in perfect squares. We find the perimeter and factor in the other costs to get the price.

  • What do you use to block the panels?

We use black rubber coated galvanized steel mesh that does not rust or scratch. We do not drill into the panels. We use galvanized steel clips to secure the mesh to the panels, they are very strong, but can be removed easily if needed.

  • Is the bird proofing guaranteed?

Yes, for as long as we are in business, we will fix what is needed. We will come out even if you think there's a problem, to make sure there is nothing wrong.

  • Do you clean under the panels before you bird proof?

Yes, we remove any nests and/or pigeons that are under them. We then wash out the pigeon waste and debris that is left. We then apply the barriers and clean the remaining grime around and on the panels.

  • Do you offer payment plans for the bird proofing?

Yes, we can divide the price into 2-6 monthly payments with no interest.

  • What type of payments do you accept?

We accept Cash, Check, Credit Card, Zelle, and PayPal.

  • Do you apply other bird deterrents?

Yes, we can install Bird Spikes, Optical Gel Pods, Plastic Falcons and more.

  • There's staining from pigeon waste all over my roof, can you get rid of it?

Yes, we can wash away the waste leaving a visually clean surface. We then disinfect the roof with enzyme killers and a little bleach to destroy the bacteria you cannot see, which has soaked into the roof tiles.

  • How long does the bird proofing take to install?

Anywhere from 3 hours to 2 full days. It all depends on the size of the solar panel array and how big of a mess there is.

  • What about all the waste and debris falling on the ground during the bird proofing and cleaning process?

We'll move what we can from under the path of debris and waste. We then cover what needs to be as well as the ground with plastic sheets. After everything has been completed, we roll it up like a giant burrito and dispose of it. we'll also power wash the ground if needed.
