Solar Keepers (Solar Panel Cleaners) – Independent Contractor Position
Details:
- $150 per day
- Same-day pay
- 2 days a week to start (Wednesday and Any other day)
- 6–7 hour shifts
- Opportunity for more days and more pay as we grow
- Independent contractor position
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Have own transportation
- Positive attitude, strong understanding skills, and great situational awareness
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to safety
- Comfortable working outdoors, on roofs, and in extreme heat
- Not afraid of heights and physically able to handle rooftop work
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
- Meet at job sites (we often start early to beat the heat)
- Carefully walk roofs, inspect solar panels, and set up cleaning equipment
- Perform solar panel cleanings using filtered water and specialized tools
- Snap before and after photos for customer reports
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers
- Maintain safety and quality standards throughout every job

No experience is necessary! We provide on-the-job training to teach you the right techniques, tools, and safety practices.
Is equipment provided?
Yes, we provide all the specialized equipment needed for cleaning. You just need to show up with a great attitude, work shoes, and appropriate clothing for the weather.
Will I work alone or with someone?
All jobs are completed as a team, you will always have someone watching your back.
Is this year-round work?
Yes — we clean panels year-round. However, the schedule can vary a little depending on the season and weather conditions.
Is this a 1099 (independent contractor) position?
Yes. As an independent contractor, you’re responsible for your own transportation, taxes, and personal insurance.
What kind of roofs will I work on?
Primarily residential homes with pitched tile or shingle roofs. Comfort with walking on rooftops is a must!
How soon can I start?
We’re ready to bring on new team members immediately! After a short interview and orientation, you can start as early as the following week.
